Hinckley & Rugby Building Society joins the new Mortgage Charter

Women reading a letter at the entrance of her home, with a worried look on her face.

We understand that things can sometimes be challenging, and we’re committed to supporting our members who are facing difficulties in paying their mortgage. This is why we have signed up to the Government’s new Mortgage Charter, which starts in August.

This agreement, known as the Mortgage Charter, has been made between several lenders, the Financial Conduct Authority and the government to provide support to borrowers who are affected by higher interest rates and are maybe nearing the end of their existing mortgage deal.

Our Mortgage Charter page provides detailed information about the support measures we have put in place and the options available to you. These new measures have been combined with the existing support we offer to ensure you receive the right support.

If you are worried that you can’t pay your next mortgage payment, you can contact us for help. Our team is here to help you navigate through any financial challenges you may be facing.

We remain dedicated to helping you and ensuring that you have the necessary support to manage your mortgage effectively. To learn more about the Mortgage Charter and the additional support available, visit our Mortgage Charter page today.
