Community Sponsorship Scheme Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: The Community Sponsorship Scheme aims to provide support to local small charities, community groups, causes, initiatives and sports clubs within Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
- Available Funding: Successful applicants will be eligible for donations ranging from £200 to £700, to be utilised within a year of receiving the donation.
- Application Process: To be considered for a sponsorship of up to £700, organisations, charities, groups, or clubs must complete the online application form which can be found at https://www.hrbs.co.uk/the-society/community/community-sponsorship-scheme/ – Upon submission, the application will be received by our committee for consideration at their next meeting.
- Application Recommendations: Applicants must complete all sections of the application form. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Decision Making: While the Society aims to support a variety of causes, not all applications will receive sponsorship. The decision-making process takes into account factors such as geographical location, organisational type, and other relevant considerations.
- Geographical Limitation: Only complete applications from organisations, charities, groups, or clubs based within Leicestershire and Warwickshire will be considered for sponsorship. Applications from outside these counties will not be accepted.
- Application Review Timeline: The committee endeavours to meet every two weeks to review applications; however, the review process may occasionally extend beyond this timeframe due to the volume of requests received. Applicants may not receive a response if their application is unsuccessful.
- Notification of Decision: Successful applicants will be contacted by the Society to inform them of the outcome of their application. Instructions will then be provided on how to claim the funds.
- Use of Funds: The recipients of sponsorship funds are required to utilise the allocated money exclusively for the purpose detailed in their application form. Any deviation from the specified purpose must be communicated and approved by the Society in advance. Hinckley & Rugby reserves the right to request documentation or evidence demonstrating the appropriate use of funds, and failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the need for repayment or termination of sponsorship.
- Publicity and Promotion: By accepting sponsorship from Hinckley & Rugby, recipients agree to cooperate with requests for publicity and promotion. This may include providing photographs, quotes, testimonials, or other marketing materials as requested. Recipients acknowledge that such materials may be used for promotional purposes in various media channels, including but not limited to, social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
- Termination or Modification: The Society reserves the right to terminate or modify the sponsorship agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the recipient organisation. Circumstances that may warrant termination or modification include, but are not limited to, the recipient organisation’s failure to adhere to the terms and conditions of the agreement, breach of applicable laws or regulations, or changes in organisational circumstances that impact eligibility or suitability for sponsorship.
- Data Protection: By submitting an application to the Community Sponsorship Scheme, applicants consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data by Hinckley & Rugby Building Society. This data will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating the application and administering the sponsorship programme. Hinckley & Rugby Building Society may also use this data to contact applicants regarding future products or services that may benefit their organisation, unless otherwise indicated by the applicant. All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Hinckley & Rugby Building Society Privacy Policy. By submitting an application to the Community Sponsorship Scheme, applicants acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Hinckley & Rugby Building Society reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at its discretion.
