“We were really pleased to welcome the team from Hinckley & Rugby Building Society. The workshops supported the school’s PSHE finance curriculum well, and to have people who work in finance delivering the sessions was a real bonus. The pupils enjoyed the sessions immensely.”
Gavin Collins, Head of RE & PSHE at Hartshill Academy
Thank you so much to the volunteers from Hinckley & Rugby Building Society… they delivered an engaging workshop with our Year 5 & Year 6 children. It was a brilliant workshop and the children gained so much from it. They learnt the differences between needs & wants and how to best save their money. The children were able to discuss how bank accounts gain interest and how to keep money safe. The volunteers interacted with the children brilliantly and the children had a great session! Thank you very much!
